Delete your NoteStar account

Deleting your NoteStar account permanently removes your account and everything you made. It can't be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open NoteStar, tap your profile picture, then Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm with your Google account. Deletion happens straight away.

Without the app

Email us from the Google account you use with NoteStar, with the subject "Delete my NoteStar account". We'll confirm the request and delete your account within 30 days.

What's deleted

• Your account (sign-in) and profile
• All your notes, handwriting, study books and chapters, flashcards and AI tutor history
• Everything you shared to study groups; you also leave every group
• Data stored on the device you delete from

What's kept

• Your plan and AI usage counters, which contain none of your content, for fraud prevention and billing records
• Reports you sent about AI content, for safety review
• Copies that other group members saved to their own libraries, which belong to them
